Bachelor’s in Home Science, GB PANT Univ. Of Agriculture And Technology , Pantnagar , UK (1985).
Dissertation on “ANTHROPOMETRIC MEASUREMENTS OF YOUNG ADULT GIRLS BETWEEN 21 – 25 YEARS OF AGE “.
1987 – 89 : Commercial Creative Design freelancer included conceptualisation and product execution for assorted clients. The client chain grew on word of mouth owing to the USP of my designs – as creativity , trends and comfort.
1989 – 94 – TATA International Ltd. ! Dewas , M.P. ( earlier known as TATA Exports ) Role : Functional Executive , Leather Garments.
- Was responsible for product development, product design n engineering.
- Designed for various international fairs n shows
1995 – 96 – Designer for CRANE PACKAGING Pvt. Ltd. Pune. Product conceptualisation and execution of collection for “India International Leather Fair”, Chennai.
1996 – till now – Came into fashion education ( Teaching) .
Various prestigious institutions like SNDT , INIFD , JD , IIFT etc.
Achievements and Activities :
Received university Merit Certificate on achieving scholastic standards.
Was awarded “Certificate of Honours” for undergraduate degree.
Received NSS Certificate for imparting services for rural development.
Awarded a Certificate for successfully completing a training prog. On “Production Management in a Sewing Factory” conducted by The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (Japan) and The Juki Corporation (Japan).
Nominated as a subject expert – (Fashion Technology ) in the selection committee for teaching and non-teaching posts at DAVV, Indore.
Appointed as external examiner for various institutions nationwide as ICG College, Jaipur, Sarojini Girls College, Bhopal, CBSE, Jabalpur and many more..
